Ian Tyson

Ian Tyson was a Canadian singer-songwriter whose music helped define both the folk revival and the sound of the Canadian West. First known as half of Ian & Sylvia, he later embraced cowboy and western music, writing evocative songs about ranching, horses and life on the open range. Songs such as “Four Strong Winds” and “Someday Soon” established Tyson as one of Canada’s most influential songwriters.
